How do I uninstall a Windows application?

Windows 7

1. Click the Windows logo in the start bar and select "Control Panel".
2. Click "Programs" or "Programs and Features".
3. Look for your program and left-click to select the entry.
4. Click "Uninstall" and follow the on-screen instructions to remove the program from your system.

Windows 8 / 8.1

1. Move your mouse pointer to the upper / lower right screen corner to bring up the charm bar.
2. Click "Settings" at the bottom.
3. Look for your program and left-click to select the entry.
4. Click "Uninstall" and follow the on-screen instructions to remove the program from your system.

Windows 10 / 11

1. Click the Windows logo in the start bar and select the cog wheel (Settings).
2. Click "Apps".
3. Look for your program under "Apps & Features" and left-click to select the entry.
4. Click "Uninstall" and follow the on-screen instructions to remove the program from your system.
