1. Record from mic
Once launched, simply click the microphone button to start recording right away.
While recording, the microphone button will display a red border (1) and the recording time will be visible (2).
2. Stop mic recording
Click the microphone button again to stop recording (1).
Afterwards, your clip will appear in the media library (1).
3. Record what you hear
First, switch to "Speakers (Loopback)" (1). This means everything you hear will be recorded. Then, start recording as previously described.
4. Crop recordings
First, select the clip you wish to crop (1). Then, click the scissors to switch to editing mode (2).
To crop the beginning of your clip, click into the timeline (1) and then click "Start" (2) to set the current position as the new beginning of your clip. Use the playback feature to review your modification (3).
To crop the end of your clip, once again click into the timeline (1) and click "End" to set the current position as the end of your clip.
5. Save changes
You can either overwrite the existing clip with your changes (1) or create a copy containing your modifications (2).
