1. Launch program and open video
Launch Video Stabilization and drag the affected video into the program window (1). Alternatively, you can also use "Or click to open" (2) and select the file manually.
2. Preview
By default, the program launches with deflickering enabled (1) to provide you with instant visual feedback through the preview. Click Play (2) to preview the video and use the eye icon to enable/disable stabilization (3).
3. Adjust deflickering
The program automatically corrects flickering based on the selected strength setting (1). You can modify its strength through the slider or the text box. "Smoothing" defines how many frames will be processed to deflicker the video. A value of 1 means that the previous, current and next frame will be used. Usually, this setting need not be altered.
4. Exposure and colors
If necessary, enable "Exp., colors" (1) to adjust the colors and white balance settings for your video. Use the sliders or text boxes to make the desired modifications. For a quick way to fix white balance, select the color picker and click the "whitest" area in the preview pane.
5. Save
Once you're satisfied, click "Export selection" (1) to export your modified video.
