1. Select Function for Restoration
Launch Ashampoo Backup Pro and select the Restore function.
2. Select the backup to restore
Hover over the backup plan that includes the file or folder to be restored and click.
3. Which file or folder would you like to restore?
Here, you can now select the backup according to the backup date (Point 1). By double-clicking on the secured folder, the files and any contained subfolders will become visible (Point 2). By clicking on the icon with the upward arrow (Point 3), you will return one level up to the parent folder.
4. Marking the Data to be Restored
Please click on the small blue box to select the files and folders you wish to restore (Step 1). After selecting all the data to be restored, click "Next" (Step 2).
5. Where would you like to restore the data?
Please select the location where the restored files and folders should be saved. By clicking the "Browse" button, a file browser will open to assist you in navigating through your file and folder structure to restore the data to a secure location (Point 1). Clicking "Restore" will immediately start the restoration process (Point 2).
