Quickstart
Ashampoo Photo Card is the intuitive and straightforward solution to turn your photos into stunning greeting cards complete with borders and texts in a few clicks. You can also upload to Ashampoo Web, Facebook and Picasa or send as email.Select the source of the photo: You can open a photo from your webcam or your (hard) disk or you can open an existing photo card. Select Open Photo from Disk to and select an existing image to familiarize yourself with the interface.
Now select a fitting frame: a selection of frames is shown on the right-hand side.
Just click at the frame thumbs and the preview will appear on the left. You can drag your image around or use the circle hotspots to resize your image.
You can also adjust the perspective. Simply click Transform on/off to toggle perspective transformation mode and use the hotspots to skew the image.
Not every picture is perfect, therefore Ashampoo Photo Card 3 offers a collection of useful correction and enhancement tools. Apart from opacity, mirror and flip, you can also adjust saturation, brightness and contrast settings with the sliders.
To edit text just double click on it (s. example below).
Once you click Ok, select the text element to apply formatting.
Click the cog wheel to access pre-defined styles for your element.
You can replace your image at any time through the top right toolbar. From left to right: Insert graphics (arrows, symbols, funny things), insert text, replace current picture with webcam picture and replace the current picture with a picture from your computer. Click Create! to finalize your card.
Ashampoo Photo Card 3 allows you to email your cards or upload and publish them to social networks or online photo sites such as Facebook, Picasa or Ashampoo Web. Ashampoo Photo Card 3 provides a new function to store your images on Ashampoo servers for 28 days. To use it, simply click on Share on Ashampoo Web. You need to have a user account to use Facebook or Picasa. When you click on Share on Facebook / Picasa, a browser window will open where you need to enter the login data of the affected account. Ashampoo Photo Card 3 will then establish a connection to the appropriate server and upload the photo. Once completed, a message will appear that the files were uploaded successfully. If you want Ashampoo Photo Card 3 to remember your login data, just check the box in front of Remember log-in information.
There is also the possibility to send your photo card through email (which will open your email client and create an empty email with the photo card as attachment), save it to your hard disk or copy it to the system clipboard for further usage (HTML mails, Docs, etc.). Use Send by Webmail to email your card through web-based email providers such as Gmail.
Webcam
You can also use your webcam to create a photo card. Select Open Photo from webcam to begin the process. Ashampoo Photo Card 3 is now ready to capture your webcam.Select your desired webcam device and click Take Photo. This image will now be used for your photo card.
