Recording Methods:
In the new version, the order of steps for making a recording has changed slightly. Now, if you want to make a recording, you select the recording symbol in the recording bar, for example, to pull an area or record a window. At the bottom of the made selection you will now find the different modes, e.g. the camera symbol for video recording, the recording of the scrolling area or the recording with a timer.
In earlier versions, you first started the recording method (screenshot, video, time recording, etc.) and then selected the area. Now you first select the area and then the recording method. This order improves the workflow in our experience.
We describe the exact procedure here:

Video Recording:
There's a change in the audio recording section for videos. In Snap settings under "Capture," you can select the right audio device for recording at the bottom or enable "Record system audio" to capture everything played through your speakers.
Quick Screenshotting:
We have integrated a new quick mode, as there are use cases where you may want to quickly create consecutive screen captures. To avoid having to choose whether you want to create a screenshot, a video, a timer recording, etc. with each capture, you can enable the quick mode. In this case, you won't receive a selection bar at the bottom of the recording area, instead the screenshot will be created directly and created/saved according to the action defined in the settings. You can enable/disable the option using the following icon:
