The rescue system allows you to restore a backup, even if your computer fails to start. You can initiate the computer with a USB stick or a DVD/BluRay Disc, and then restore the backup.
While creating the rescue system, Backup Pro attempts to install all existing third-party drivers to ensure that your hardware (such as hard drives and network devices) is fully recognized when operating the rescue system.
If there are problems starting the rescue system or recognizing the hardware, you have the option to make adjustments in the menu "Rescue System > Driver import settings".
- If the rescue system doesn't start, first try the option "Extended third-party drivers", if that fails, try "Basic third-party drivers".
- If you're using special hardware, you can also use the option "Import drivers from directory" to integrate your own drivers into the rescue system.
Finally, test the rescue system and boot your PC with it.
