Task tray
When you close the program window, the program will minimize itself into the task tray as a small icon next to the clock. Right-click the icon to show the context menu.
Show
Shows the program window.
Enable/Disable Autostart
Use this option to auto-run the application with Windows and to ensure permanent file monitoring.
Exit
Closes the program.
Dashboard
You will find your plans separated by status here. Click a tile to navigate to the associated program section.
Your plans
Plans you created are listed here. Click "Activate" to start monitoring the designated folder.
Log notifications
The number of current status/error message is shown here. Click it to reveal further details.More info

Customize
Allows you to modify all plan settings except the number of backup archives to keep.
Log notifications
Displays details on current status/error messages related to the plan.
Delete
Deletes the affected plan after confirmation.
New plan
Basics
Specify name, source and target folder for the backup archives here. Note that source and target folder must not be identical!
Filter by file type
By default, all file types are backed up. You can limit backups to certain file types using the provided category tiles or create a custom category via "Custom".Click a tile to toggle between active/inactive state for a category. Alternatively, click the X at the bottom behind the category name to set it to inactive.
Custom
Once activated, a textfield will appear below the tile. Fill in the file extensions separated by semilocons that the backup plan will accept e.g., "html;css;js" to include common web files.Settings
The program creates a new backup archive every day and reuses previous archives depending on the specified total number of archives.
Overwrite files in backup
If enabled, files in the backup archive will be overwritten every time the source files change. Otherwise, a new copy of the modified file will be created. and the previous file kept.
Delete files in backup
If enabled, deleting a file in the monitored folder will also delete the copy of the file in the backup archive.
Exclude hidden files
Enable this option to exclude hidden files from backup archives.
Exclude temp files
Enable this option to exclude temporary files, often created by running applications, from backup archives.
Summary
Finally, you'll see a sammury of your plan's settings. Click "Finish" to apply them.
Program settings
AutostartEnable this option to automatically launch the application upon system startup. The application, however, remains in the background until manually opened.
Tray
When this option is activated, the application minimizes to the tray at the bottom right of the taskbar upon closure, instead of closing directly.
Language
Here, you can select the language for the application.
Compression level
Specify the degree of backup compression here, where 1 indicates no compression, 5 is the default setting, and 9 represents the maximum compression.
Big files
Choose whether a warning should appear when processing large files (over 2 GB).
