Ashampoo Duplicate File Finder replaces duplicates with links to a master file. The links look and behave like their original files but occupy virtually no disk space. Note that, due to technical constraints, Windows Explorer will show you the size of the master file each time you view the properties of one of the links even though the link itself doesn't occupy any disk space.
Ashampoo Duplicate File Finder automatically creates a backup prior to file deletion that allows you to undo related modifications with a single click. Nonetheless, we'd love it if you to contacted us, should you experience abnormal behavior with one of your applications, so we could then adjust Ashampoo Duplicate File Finder's file filters accordingly.
